Note: my art contains stylized nudity, medical imagery, and adult queer themes.

Painting

I create illustrative mixed media paintings in watercolor, gouache, ink, colored pencils, and collage.

Printmaking

I make bold, graphic relief prints with natural linoleum, oil based inks, and lightweight papers. I print with a baren or wooden hand press.

Patches

I also sell a small line of queer, antifascist, and botanical patches.

Printing Process

This is how I built up color layers on a recent print. I used the reduction method, where each successive color layer is carved into the same block, destroying the previous layers.

About Me

Robin, a person with light skin and short dark brown hair, smiles at the camera from their studio bedroom. They are wearing an oversize paisley shirt, a bandana necktie, and winged eyeliner.

I’m Robin Finn (they/them), a painter and printmaker from Boston. I make art that is illustrative, bold, and often deeply personal.I’ve been selling my art online for almost 10 years. Before that, I worked in a rare book library. When I’m not nerding out about paint and linoleum, I love Star Trek DS9, history, making websites, and hanging out with my partners, friends, and cat.

ETSY SHOP

I sell original linocuts, prints of my paintings, and hand printed patches in my Etsy Shop. I pack orders with love from my bedroom studio.

PATREON

Join for a personal letter and a mini print (illustration or original linocut) every month. Support me and collect my work for $10.

In the world

I'm a chronically ill homebody and make very rare appearances in the local indie market & gallery scene. Email me with questions or opportunities.
